
Just a quick couple of closing comments from me in this lecture. First off, well done on completing the course. You’ve covered quite a lot of ground at this point all the way from 'what is a dynamic problem?' up to implementing numerical solution techniques in Python.

You should now have the knowledge and confidence to tackle dynamic analyses and investigate the dynamic behaviour of structures characterised as single-degree-of-freedom systems.

As you can imagine there is more we could and will say about structural dynamics, in particular there’s the topic of multi-degree-of-freedom systems, we haven’t yet touched on.
